December 8th, 2008 the feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary was an auspicious day for the Daughters of St. Paul. The Indian province was blessed with eight young sisters who made their final commitment to Christ in the congregation. The long awaited dream of our sisters Anna Asanai, Dorothy Adaha, Fiona Caldeira, Jyoti Kerketta, Kabita Pani, Mary Ruba, Prit Lakhra, and Sushama Kullu became a reality when they pledged their final commitment to live Christ and to give Christ in response to the Charism and mission of the congregation. These vibrant talented sisters courageously accepted the challenges to dedicate themselves totally to the Lord and His service through the mass media of social communication. The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Varghese Gnalian the provincial superior of the society of St. Paul.

The significant moment was when the directress (formator) from the altar called each sister by name, to which they responded "here I am”. The parents then lead the sisters to the altar, offering their daughter to the Lord. During the Eucharistic celebration the sisters made their final commitment to the Lord and His service then witnessing the surpassing choice of their life.
Felicitation, cultural and entertainment progrmmes were organized to celebrate the occasion.
