We the Daughters of St. Paul in India have opened a new community and a Pauline Book & Media Centre in Mangalore, a town in the State of Karnataka, located in the southern part of the country. The new Centre was inaugurated on 2 December by Most Rev. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the Bishop of Mangalore. The blessing ceremony included prayers, the enthronement of the Bible and the traditional lighting of a lamp.

The day preceding the inauguration, many people visited the Center to purchase books, audio visuals and religious articles. We are very happy and enthusiastic about this new apostolic centre, which permits us to imitate St. Paul by spreading the Word of God to more and more people.

The inaugural function was covered by some of the local TV channels and Newspapers.
May this centre always penetrate the light of Christ in the city of Mangalore!
