Inauguration of the Parish Book Stall 27 November, 2011

27 November, was a red letter day not only for the English-speaking Church as it began the use of the New Roman Missal (3rd Edition), but also for Our Lady of Remedy Parish, Poisar, Archdiocese of Bombay.
On this day we inaugurated a Parish Book Stall , "Remedian Book Stall" as they named it, in their parish.

Fr. Peter D'Mello, parish priest , was very cooperative and it was by his support that the widows of the "Hope & Life Movement" of the parish, took up the initiative.

A few weeks before inaugurating the stall, our sisters had gone to meet the Hope & Life Association members in order to animate them and infuse in them to some extent, the same spirit with which our Founder opened Book and Media Centres. They were very coopeartive and even though some of them are in their 70s, they all expressed eagerness in carrying out this new apostolic initiative.
Since the stall has been initiated, they have already come again to take more Bibles and books as more and more people are trusting in their services.

Kudos to innovative priests like Fr. Peter D'Mello and team, the Word of God will spread far and wide.
