Donec Formetur Christus in Vobis
Until Christ’s Nature Be Formed in You

The juniors of our province made their annual retreat from 22nd to 29th of May, on “Donec Formetur” at Mira Road, Mumbai. The retreat was based on the Founder’s spiritual-apostolic experience, transmitted to the Pauline Family. They were 26 in all and were appreciative of the proposal of Bl James Alberione. Sr Vimala guided them during these days.

She spoke on the following points:

  • The nature and purpose of the spiritual exercises
  • The starting point, point of arrival and our transformation into God and the School of Nazareth
  • First Stage which is glory to the Father, The way of Purification; Thus the upright person will be formed - human
  • Second Stage, Glory to the Son, the way of Enlightenment, The growth of the master/ Shepherd, incarnated in the believer, Christian
  • Third Stage, Glory to the Spirit, The way of Unity, Everything is accomplished in the Holy spirit, Pauline Religious

After the retreat they had the seminar conducted by Srs Mary Joseph, Jessy & Rossette on “Training to conduct Animation Programme in Schools & Parishes”, and Sr Pauline conducted on “Gender Relations in the Church: A Call to Integrity and Justice”.

The retreat and seminars enriched the juniors and they departed to their own communities and work places joyfully.
