Inspite of not knowing the language, the community of Secunderabad, with trust in the Lord and a determination to do something for the poor, decided to organize a Bible weekend in a parish in a small village in Andhra. The village being small, there were just few families and a very cordial atmosphere. The parish priest Fr. Lancy was very open and generous. He was very willing to do whatever he could. There were two movies shown and we visited the families along with the parish priest as translator. We also had the hour of Adoration done with the help of some priests, sisters and brothers who translated the matter we gave them. As a whole, it was a wonderful experience. And although, we did not follow the language, we communicated with smiles, actions, our very presence and through the organized Liturgy. The people were very touched by the preacher Fr. Lourdu and his dynamic homily.
As a whole things went on well. May the Lord be praised.
