On 7th October, 2011 Srs Jessy Jacob (member o f SIGNIS) , Srs Mary Sebastian, Sr Neena and Sr Joeyanna participated in the SIGNIS organized session on New Media Technologies. It was held at Don Bosco , Matunga
Those present were the SIGNIS members and also guests like Ms. Ronita Torcato, renowned Journalist.
After the welcome address given by Sr. Phylis FMA, there were two sessions, one on  how to use the Media for Vocation Ministry, by Fr. Brian Moras SDB , All India Director of Vocation Ministry of the Salesians. The second session on New Media Techonologies was given by Fr. Joachim Fernandes SDB, director of Tejprasarani.
Both these sessions were informative and opened our eyes to the Y-Generation, and how they look at life. We were introduced to ways of reaching out to them in ways they understand instead of using the traditional outdated ways.
